Rain Bird App Error: “Please connect your mobile device to the network with Rain Bird in the name.”
If this error comes up when setting up a new controller use these three steps to resolve:
Verify the WiFi module is blinking green and red, and that you are connected to the WiFi network with Rain Bird in the name. For additional information on this step refer to the WiFi Module setup article.
Ensure location services are enabled for the Rain Bird App. For information on why location services are required refer to this article:
If you are still having issues, and are using a device with iOS 13, then it may resolve the issue to reset the phone. Please turn off the phone for 10 seconds before turning it back on again and then try to again to set up the controller.
