Advanced Water Saving Features with the RC2 in the Rain Bird 2.0 App

Cycle+Soak

Select the station you wish to enable Cycle & Soak by toggling right. Set the duration of the “cycle,” which is the time water will run, and then the duration of the “soak,” which is the “pause” time that allows the water to penetrate the plants while preventing runoff in slopes or compacted soil.

Rain Delay

Manual
In the Rain Bird App, Select the “delay” icon at the bottom right of the controller card.
Manually Suspend watering up to 14 days by toggling the slide bar under Manual Delay
to select the number of days you wish to delay irrigation. Watering will resume when
the delay expires.
Automatic
Select Forecasted Rain Delay by toggling right. Forecasted Rain Delay automatically suspends watering when rainfall reaches established thresholds. In This setting, watering can is delayed one or two days when the Rain Probability and Rainfall thresholds established are met.
