Creating a Watering Schedule with the RC2 in the Rain Bird 2.0 App

1. Add Program(s):
   In Rain Bird App 2.0, you can create a Template to use in the future, load a template previously saved, or use SKIP to set up irrigation without templates.
   If you select “Skip,” Program A will appear prepopulated for all stations. This program has a default start time and will irrigate all stations in sequence at that time daily for 10 minutes. You can retain, change, or set up a new program. This controller can be set up with up to three programs (A, B, and C). Basic programs include instructions on watering days, start times, and durations.
   
   Notice
   • Programming will remain in the controller in the event of a power outage.
   
2. Set Program Frequency (Run Days):
   Run days are the specific days of the week in which watering occurs. In the Rain Bird App, set the watering frequency by selecting Odd (days of the week), Even (days of the week), Custom or Cyclic (specific intervals).
   
   Notice
   • Watering days apply to the entire program, not the individual zones. Move the order to Days Up to match the app flow.
   
3. Seasonal Adjustment
   Changes the watering duration (as a percent) for all zones associated with run times in an individual program.
   Move the slider to the right to select “Automatic.” Adjust watering based on historical weather averages, yesterday’s known weather, and tomorrow’s weather forecast based on a local zip code. OR you can “Manually” adjust by toggling off and using the slider to adjust the desired percentage.
   
   Notice
   • The controller must be connected to WiFi to make automatic adjustments.
   • An adjustment value of 100% is representative of irrigation during the average hottest time of the year, so even if you’re experiencing warm weather on a summer day, you may not see an adjustment above 100%.
   
4. Set Program Start Time(s):
   Click “Add Start Time” to set the time(s) of day the program will begin. Each start time you add will run every zone for its scheduled duration within that program. You can schedule up to four independent start times per program.
   
   Notice
   • Start times apply to the entire program, not individual zones. Multiple start times may be assigned for the program depending on the landscape needs. Once the start time is set, the controller begins the watering cycle with the first zone; the other zones in the program follow in sequence.
   
5. Add/Remove Stations
   
   This controller can manage up to 8 irrigation stations/zones. For each independent wired station, click the pencil and Toggle On or Off to Add/Remove that station. You can personalize each station by naming it or adding a photo for better identification. You can also activate Cycle & Soak for each station by toggling right.
   You can also access Stations anytime by selecting the Station icon in the bottom left corner of the controller card.
