How to Detect Station Wiring Problems with the ESP-BAT-BT

ESP-BAT-BT can detect electrical conditions that may indicate an open or short circuit, helping identify station wiring or solenoid problems.

Open Circuit: The controller does not detect the expected solenoid connection. This may mean a wire or connection is loose or disconnected, the solenoid has an issue, or a runtime was assigned to a station that is not in use. Check the station wiring, connections, and solenoid. If the station is unused, remove its runtime.

Short Circuit: The controller detects an abnormal electrical condition that may be caused by the wiring, connections, or solenoid. A station with a detected short may still operate, but the condition should be inspected and corrected. In other cases, the electrical issue may prevent the station from operating.

After making a repair: Run a Raster Test to recheck all stations, or manually run the affected station. The controller will test the circuit again and update the detected condition.
