How to Add an ESP-ME3 Controller in the Rain Bird 2.0 App and Update Your LNK2 Device

Step 1: Download the Rain Bird 2.0 App from the App Store or Play Store.

Step 2: Make sure the LNK2 device is plugged into your ESP-ME3. Note: the Rain Bird 2.0 App is not compatible with the LNK1 device.

Step 3: If you have a “Rain Bird IQ” login, login now. If not, click on “Create Account”

• Follow the prompts to create an account, accepting the Rain Bird license and terms of agreement.
• All of your data is stored securely in the cloud and not sold or shared with outside sources.

Step 4: Log in to the app.

Step 5: Click on Add Controller in the lower left corner – yellow “+” button. Select the ESP-ME3 controller, in this example.

Step 6: Follow the steps to add your controller to the Rain Bird 2.0 App. During this process, the app may guide you through a firmware update for the LNK2 device. Follow the on-screen instructions, which may involve holding down the button on the LNK2 device in part of the steps.
