When selecting an available network during controller setup in the Rain Bird mobile app, only 2.4 GHz networks that are within range of the controller will be available networks to select from.

The LNK WiFi module works with any 802.11 b/g/n wireless router networks using 2.4GHz wireless frequency bands. (5.0 GHz is not supported) Security protocols supported include Open, WEP, WPA-TKIP, WPA-AES, WPA2-TKIP, WPA2-AES, WPA2-AES-TKIP. LNK WiFi is not compatible with satellite internet service providers.
