How to Reset ESP-BAT-BT Controller PIN

If you forget your controller PIN, remove the battery tray for at least 6 minutes, then reinstall it. After power is restored, you will have a 1-minute window to:

  1. Connect to the controller in the Rain Bird 2.0 App.
  2. Navigate to the controller Settings screen.
  3. Select Change or Remove PIN and follow the prompts.
  4. If the PIN is not changed or removed within the 1-minute window, the existing PIN protection will be restored and the process will need to be repeated.
