Leaving the Rain Bird App Open

If the Rain Bird app is left open on a mobile device, the app will disconnect from the controller after several minutes. To reconnect the app may show the message “Connecting to controller…”

If the app is slow to respond after being left open for a time, go back to the main screen and select the controller again. This will reconnect to the controller.
